Our Mission

The Greater Erie Area Overeaters Anonymous Intergroup is dedicated to promoting the cause of recovery from all eating disorders through the application of the 12 step recovery program.

About Overeaters Anonymous in Erie, Pennsylvania

Overeaters Anonymous is a self-help fellowship that exists to support its members' in their recovery from compulsive eating, bulimia, and/or anorexia.

Greater Erie Area Intergroup of Overeaters Anonymous (GEAIG) is a member of WSO (The National Organization for Overeaters Anonymous) and Region 7 (our home region headquartered in Dover, Delaware.)

GEAIG of Overeaters Anonymous is comprised of a Chair, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, and a Representative from each of the Overeaters Anonymous meeting in this area. Also serving on this board is a Newsletter Editor, Ways and Means Chair, and Public Information Chair.
