Greene Township has no municipal water source. We set up tanker shuttle operations between a water source and the scene. We rely on Dry Hydrants place throughout the township, along with creeks, ponds and lakes. Below are pictures of some of our dry hydrants. There are pictures of the hydrant just after installation.

At the Seneca High School campus water is also a problem. The school district, working with the fire department is placing 5 10,000 gallon water tanks underground. These tanks will be filled from run off water from the buildings. There will be a dry hydrant head to draft from at the driveway.
